As a child when I would think about Uncle George, my thoughts were “Oh – he’s a scary man / I’m afraid of him / he’s mean”, but of course as I got older and really got to know the person inside - my thoughts turn to an uncle full of life, with a great sense of humor, who loved to laugh and loved his family.
We’re certainly going to miss him, but we know that he'll now be reunited with Aunt Eileen, Pam and Ted and will continue to make people laugh with that infectious chuckle of his.
To those he’s left behind, please know that he will always hold a special place in our hearts and will always be remembered with love.
