Obituary of Ian Kelvin Gillies

Ian Kelvin Gillies of Burlington, Ontario died peacefully with his family by his side. Ian will be lovingly remembered by his wife Beverley, daughter Kimberley (David) Dennis and their children Emily, Bradley, and Abigayle. Ian is survived by his brothers and sisters Mary (Don) Williams, Helen (Stan) Jarvis, Colin (Betty) Gillies, and Dorothy Johnson. Ian is also survived by his two sisters-in-law, Joan Dawson and Margaret Melia. Ian also had many nieces and nephews that he was fond of. Ian was predeceased by his parents Archibald and Sadie, Brother Allan, and brothers-in-law Les Melia and Frank Johnson. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Trafalgar Medical for their compassionate care. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Cheyne Presbyterian Church, 7 King St. W. Stoney Creek, Ontario.
