Obituary of Shirley May Brown

Peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on Friday, February 7, 2014, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Ralph for 62 ½ years. Loving mother of Phil, Larry and his wife Kim, Arla Ransberry (Chuck), Mitch and his wife Jo-Anne and predeceased by her son Rick. Cherished grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Shirley is predeceased by her brothers and sister. Also survived by her nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Staff of West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Dundurn Place and the Hamilton General Hospital for all of their compassion and care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, February 11 from 1 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
