Obituary of Paolo Cecere

CECERE, Paolo After a long and courageous struggle, Paolo passed away on Friday, July 18, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Rita for 49 years. Loving father of Yolanda and her husband Christopher Cornell, Josie and her husband Darren Parsons, Antonietta and her husband Jay Marshall and his son John. Cherished grandfather of Alexandria, Erica, Claudia, Julianna, Emily and Nina. Survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph's ICU and Bayshore Dialysis Clinic for their care and compassion. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME, 36 Lake Avenue Dr., Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers at 8 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral Mass will be held at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Parish (corner of Barton St. and Nash Rd.) on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at 9 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
