Hi Ted, Mum (Cousin Glo) and the Beattie, MacKay, Kendall families would like to express our condolences and are very sad for your loss. While my sister Theresa is vacationing in the Antartic - mum is with us and while she wanted to be in attendance today, her "hip" is making mobility a real challenge for her. She wanted to speak to you directly by phone, however there are a suprising number of Hammonds in Hamilton on Canada 411. Please contact me at work so that we can connect and get my mum to speak to you. Again we are terribly sorry for your loss, trust you family will be comforted by the condolences and those in attendance today. You are in our prayers. Glo, Kevin & family, Theresa & family, Laurie & family.

Hi Ted Jr., I'm very sorry to hear about your dad. I loved him and aunt Gwen. I can remember visiting aunt Gwen at work at Eaton's and how beautiful she looked. I remember Uncle Ted and his garden in the backyard. When I was about 7 years old, my parents, Theresa, Kevin and I always came down for Christmas Eve. I can remember you there with Michelle. There were times when I was left with your dad and mom while my mom was in the hospital for long periods of time. I loved going to visit in the summer, sitting with Uncle Ted in the yard, in the shade. He was a very kind, considerate man that I knew cared for me. I know that Uncle Ted is up in heaven with aunt Gwen, my dad, and the trouble making sisters, Ivy, Daisy, Queenie and Edith. Again, I'm sorry for your loss and my heart goes out to you and your lovely family. Unfortunately my family and I are unable to attend the service, but you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless.

Hey Ted, I am sorry for the loss of your. He had a long life. It was fun to have been around him playing darts for a few yrs at the Stoney Creek legion. He was a determined and caring person who liked a good discussion. He served as tour guide at the Hamilton which he graciously did with enthusiasm. It was nice to know that even in the nursing home he asked of me. He will surely be missed by me and all his family. A fighter in war and a fighter in life. He will be in a better. May he rest in peace.

Ted, so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a wonderful person, always so cheerful and friendly. I really enjoyed the many conversations I had with him on his visits to Branch 622 while I was manager there. He always found time to say hello even if there wasn't time for a sit down and a visit. He will be missed so much by so many people.
