CHRISTIE, Katie (nee Kozack) Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Macassa Lodge in her 97th year. Predeceased by her parents Mary and John Kozack. Beloved wife of the late Thomas. Cherished mother of Tom (Sally), Dennis (Carol), and Kathy Rogers (Dave). Loved grandmother of John (Anita), Debbie Thiel (Armin), Stacey, Sheryl (Leo), Jamie (Lisa), Sara Rogers (John), Darec Rogers (Diane), Brianna Rogers and great-grandchildren Karl, Becca, Austin, Elise, Isaac and Marisa. Dear sister of Mary Reniewick and John Kozack. Predeceased by siblings Mike Kozack, Anne Charles and Steve Kozack. The family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff of Macassa Lodge. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 6-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 17, 2013 at 11a.m. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
