Obituary of Patricia Condello

CONDELLO, Patricia (nee Marranca) On Saturday, November 9, 2013, after a long and courageous medical journey, Patricia succumbed to her complex illness at the Hamilton General Hospital with her daughters and sister by her side. She will be sadly missed by daughters Christine (Dave) Spotswood and Teresa (Shawn) Albert. Adored by grandchildren Ryan, DJ, Kristen, Colton and Wyatt. Loving sister to Mary (James) Newell and Gus (Doris) Marranca. Predeceased by her parents Mary and Peter Marranca and sister Ann Stefan. Patricia loved children and was a long time VON volunteer for the Good Beginnings Program. She was also an active member of the St. Francis Catholic Women's League. Her family is extremely grateful to the prestigious CCU team members that cared for her, and them, during this difficult time. A sincere thank you to Dr. Debbie Hastings for her exemplary long time medical care both as a professional and a friend. Visitation will take place at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, November 12 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 13 at Incarnation Church, 400 Pottruff Rd, Hamilton at 9:00am. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery, Burlington. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
