Obituary of Ronald James Cooper

COOPER, Ronald James After a lengthy illness, Ron entered peacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, on Friday, April 22, 2011, in his 87th year. Beloved and devoted husband of Mary for 63 years. Loving father of Joyce and her husband Sam Holdcroft of Florida, Gerald and his wife Daiva of Thornhill and Maldwyn and his wife Marie of Pennsylvania. Dear grandpa of Shaun, Shannon, Nicholas, Matthew, Michele, Megan, Gareth, Andrew and Lewis. Dear great grandpa of Samantha, Robert, Matthew and Marlee. Ron and Mary emigrated from Wales in 1965 and was a long time Member of Bethel Gospel Tabernacle. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. There will not be any visitation on Wednesday. The Funeral Service will be held at Bethel Gospel Tabernacle, 1355 Upper Wellington, on Thursday, April 28th at 1:30 p.m. Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
