Obituary of Martin Vyn

It is with a deep sense of loss that we announce the death of Marty Vyn on April 23, 2015 at the age of 60. Predeceased by his wife Mary. Beloved son of Carla Vyn and the late Martin Vyn. A dear brother to Ralph and Cathy, Pat and Theo, Jim and Margaret, Bill and Diane and Leo and Trish. A loving uncle to his 14 nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law to Barbara and Dieter. He will be missed by his many friends and colleagues. Marty fought cancer courageously, he never complained and he always kept his wonderful sense of humor. A long time, faithful employee of Demik Construction, Marty loved his job. During his illness he often visited the job sites and there wasn’t a day that he didn’t wish he could be there working. We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to the warm and caring staff of Juravinski Cancer Clinic for their excellent care and most especially to Deb Evans for her compassion and friendship. Also to Susanna from the VON, you brightened our mornings with your smile and our hearts with your kindness. Finally our love and thanks to Ralph for the many, many things that we saw you do for Marty and the many things you did that we didn’t see.
