Obituary of Lois E. Heatley

Passed away at the Hamilton General Hospital on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the age of 78. Beloved and devoted wife of Ed for 60 years. She was a much loved and cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Lois was a past member of Rosedale Community Council and had spent 32 years working at Glendale Golf and Country Club. She also enjoyed her time as a member of women’s barber shop choruses for over 20 years. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors of the ICU/ Burn Unit at the Hamilton General for all of their wonderful care and love. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at 3 p.m. for a Memorial Service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stoney Creek Food Bank or the ICU/Burn Unit at the Hamilton General would be greatly appreciated. In Lois’ memory, the family ask that you kindly wear bright colours, instead of black.
