Obituary of Eva Blanche Pattison

Entered peacefully into the presence of the Lord at the Hamilton General Hospital on Sunday, June 14, 2015 in her 95th year. Predeceased by her parents William and Grace Green and her beloved husband Andy. Loving mother of Janice and her husband Norm Kalnay and Debra and her husband Terry Roy. Dear grandmother of Sarah Roy-Menzella (Nick) and Jennifer Kalnay. Predeceased by her brothers William, Roy, Earl, George, Carl and sisters Florence and Martha. Survived by her sisters-in-law Barbara Green, Beverley Kuzyk (Dennis), Shirley Pattison and Heather Pattison. Following her father’s death in 1934, Eva worked at various jobs to help support her family. In the early 1940s she started her employment at Firestone making tires for the war planes. Eva was proud of her heritage being a great-great-granddaughter of Billy Green the Scout. She was a founding member of Faith Gospel Church for over 80 years. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private interment at Mountview Gardens Cemetery at a later date.
