I had the pleasure working with Al on the crane crew at Dofasco when I started in the apprenticeship program in 1972. He was a great mentor and is missed by many of his friends at Dofasco.
I was lucky to work with his son Dave Bailey in the Utilities Department and Dave was like his father a hard and dedicated employee. He loved his father and learn many skills from him.
We are so sorry we could not be there today. Please know we are mourning al (grandpa) with you. We will truely miss our Saturday karaoke with him. It was a great honour to know him and to have had him as part of our wedding. Esme we love you. You and your family our in our prayers.
Our deepest sympathy to all of you . I met Al @ the Legion working side by side @ fish fry . I am so glad that I had the chance to have a drink with him & Esme just a short time ago and we discussed our love of our lives . May he rest in peace .
