Obituary of Doris Manners

Peacefully in the presence of the Lord with her family by her side on Friday, May 23, 2014 at Heritage Green Nursing Home at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Norman. Cherished mother of Margaret and Carl Mountford, Donald and Luella Manners and Robert and Carole McGregor. Devoted grandmother of Carla (Rodrigo), Brent (Stacey), Lori (Mike), Scott (Tracy), Karen (Shawn), Robyn and 16 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her great-grand- daughter Blyth. Dear sister of Ethel Pfander, the late James and the late Elmer. Loving Nana of Paula and Amy. She will also be remembered by her friend and care giver Norma. Doris was a long time member at Paramount Drive Alliance Church. A heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Heritage Green Nursing Home for their care and support. Private family services have been held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, Stoney Creek, 905-662-2948.
