Obituary of Sandra Margot Jacobs

On Wednesday, July 15, 2015, I succumbed to a motor neuron disease. Now I start a new journey of existence beyond and look forward to being reunited with family. Predeceased by my father Fredrick J. Rudland and friends who have crossed over. I sadly leave behind my loving and devoted husband Lloyd, mother Margot, siblings Sharon (Joe), Greg (Mina), and Brian. Also my nieces Alandra, Jade, Ameris, Niki, nephew Jack, my faithful loyal side kick Ruby, and sister-in-law Barb. I have been blessed to have had the support of Rob, Wendy (Alex), Jim (Pat), and my loyal friends and acquaintances that remained in touch while I was in the hospice. Heartfelt thanks to Mary Beers, Dr. Mark Delcantero, the McMaster Palliative Care Team, PSW’s and Coordinators from Bayshore that cared for me, as well as the staff and volunteers at the Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice who became my extended family. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 1 p.m. until the time of service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
