Obituary of Mary-Alice Dastous

After a brief but courageous battle, Mary was returned to our loving Lord, surrounded by her family. Mary is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, Roger and sons Roger Jr. and Andrew. Also survived by siblings; James (Carmel), Rose (Carlos) and Andrew (Stephanie). Mary will also be missed by several nieces and nephews in Canada and several relatives in England and Scotland. Mary was a special niece to Elizabeth Cull of England. Predeceased by parents James Joseph and Anne Grant, brother Laurence Grant and father and mother-in-law Roger and Olive Dastous. A special thank you to Rick Dastous for supporting Mary and family in her journey. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Monday at 8:30 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Elfrida, on Tuesday, July 28 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
