It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Sydney, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, August 22, 2015 in his 84th year. Beloved husband of Lillian of 57 years. Loving father of Annette (Jim), Peter (Lorraine), Richard (Marie) and Michael (Sandra). Cherished Pappa for his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday from 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Winona, on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of The Angels Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
