Obituary of Lawrence Anthony Savelli

Passed away from a heart attack at the Hamilton General Hospital on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the age of 62. Beloved son of Lawrence and Ada. Cherished father of Christina and her husband Jeremy Hoffmann and their son Lorenzo, Gianna Savelli, Ronnie Brydges. Will be greatly missed by Maria Cunha. Predeceased by grandparents Enrico and Elizabeth Savelli. Loved brother of Christina and Glenn Pearce and their children Peter and Chanda Giacomelli and their children Amelia, Matthew and Sophia, Sammy, Dina and Kerrol Francis and their children Maia and KJ, Peter and J’Neene and their children Jimmy, Joey, Krista, and Zachary. Dear nephew of Joe (deceased) and Nicki (deceased) and their children Rena, Rick, Lida, Charlie (deceased), Josephine, Nick, Marianne and Joey, Dino (deceased) and Evelyn (deceased) and their children Linda, Dino and Danny (deceased), Gordo and Betty and their children Gordina, Tony, Maria, Damian, Gordon, Lisa (deceased), Ricky (deceased), Leno and Shirley and their children John (deceased), Ronnie, George, Connie, Leno, Quinto and Margaret and their children Harry, Kevin, Kimberly, Bobby, Mary and Nello Federiconi and their children Ramona (deceased), Raymond, Cyanne, Angelo and Anne (deceased) and their children Mark (deceased), Michael, Jason, Harry and Jenny and their children Michael, Christopher, and their families. Lawrence Jr. had a love of sports, especially baseball, hockey and football. He will be greatly missed in his role as caregiver to his father. He also had an immense love for his children and his family. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Parish, 304 Hwy. 8, Stoney Creek on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
