Obituary of Helen Elizabeth Darby

DARBY, Helen Elizabeth (nee Gordon) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in her 93rd year. Survived by her beloved husband Chris of 73 years. Dearest mother to Jacqueline (Wayne) Robinson, Jim (Cheryl), Marilyn, and Janice (Jim) Picha. Proud grandmother to Steve, Glenn, Jay, Christopher, and loving great-grandmother to Trent, Connor, Tayrn, Jessica, and Kate. Helen is survived by her sister Doreen Hill. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, November 28, 2013 from 12-1 p.m. A Funeral Service to celebrate the life of Helen will immediately follow at 1 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
