Obituary of Myrtle Eva Harrington-Whitfield

Peacefully, on September 16, 2013 in her 96th year. Wife of the late John Harrington and the late Joseph Whitfield. Loving mother of Don (Linda), Paul (Cathy) Harrington, Nancy (Bruce) Hamilton. Stepmother of Bill (Betty) Whitfield, Joyce Saulnier. Loving grandmother of Jeff, David, and Melissa Harrington, Ashley (Mark) Bowley, Lesley and Ian Hamilton. Step-grandmother of Steven Saulnier (Laura), Janice (Don) Pearcey, Robert Whitfield. Step great-grandmother of Nicolas DeSilva. Member of Stoney Creek Historic Chapter Order of the Eastern Star for over 60 years. Many thanks to Albright Manor for their care. At her request, cremation has taken place, and there will not be a funeral. The family welcomes family and friends to share their memories at an open house on Thursday, September 19 from 6:30-9:00pm at Stoney Creek United Church (Corner of King and Lake, parking across the street).
