Obituary of Jean Lorine Stouth

Passed away peacefully at The Meadows Nursing Home on July 30, 2014, with family by her side, in her 88th year. Jean was predeceased by her husband and love of her life Orlin “Michael” on June 9, 2014. She will be greatly missed by her children Sandra and Larry Hazell, Mark and Sophie Stouth, and Kim and Ben Miller. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Julie, Thomas, Derek, Sonia, Erin, and Alyson. Jean played an important role during WWII, packing parachutes for Canadian soldiers. For many years, she was an active member of the ACW of Our Saviour Church in Stoney Creek. She loved travelling, baking, entertaining family and friends and filling her home with love and laughter. She will be forever missed. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, August 5 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment Mountview Gardens.
