Obituary of Virgie M. Emery

(In His Will Is Our Peace) Down to her last hours, Gran kept a sound mind and heart laughing, smiling, and calling us by name. Sadly, Tuesday, October 21, 2014 Virgie Mae Emery was taken home in the arms of the angels. Beloved mother of Alvin Courtney, the late Audrey M. Childs, and Leandrew Emery. Grandmother to Melsena, Torriente (Sue) Childs, and Leandrew (Sue), William (“Bill”), and Alea. Great Grandmother of Daisionelee, Jayda, Trey, Jahsenti, Terrell, Ava, Nia, and Greyson. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Eastlawn Cemetery.
