Obituary of Giuseppe Triolo

Peacefully passed away at St. Joseph’s Villa, Dundas, after a long struggle with dementia, just 8 days away from his 86th birthday. Beloved husband of Madeline (nee Piersante) for 58 years. Father of Anne Dunham (husband Craig) of Binbrook (currently in Copenhagen, Denmark), and Joseph (wife Antonietta) of Oakville Ontario. Dear Nonno of Andrew, Robert, Matthew, Isabella, Joseph and Michael. Joe was a long-time grape grower in the Niagara region, and member of the Amateur Vintners Association where he won many awards for his excellent wines. He will be missed greatly by all. Thank you to the excellent staff at St. Joseph’s Villa Dundas for their wonderful care. In lieu of flowers, donations to Glanbrook Home Support Program, or St. Joseph’s Villa Foundation would be appreciated. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, December 21st from 2 to 6 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 2 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stoney Creek on Monday December 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment Glanbrook Cemetery.
