Obituary of Ronald Dawson

DAWSON, Ronald Suddenly, at his residence in Stoney Creek, on Sunday, February 5, 2012 in his 65th year. Beloved husband of Janet for 39 years. Beloved father of Pam and her partner Mark, Lori and her fiancé Roy, Paula and her husband Aren, and Brad and his wife Megan. Loving grandfather of Nolan and Evan, and two grandbabies due to arrive in the spring of 2012. Dear son of Teresa and predeceased by his father William. Dear brother of Debbie Klemp and her husband Bill. Ron was president/owner of Downing Products LTD which was recently acquired by Hypercoat. He was a hardworking, dedicated family man whose sole purpose was to provide for his wife, children, and grandchildren. From a young age he played hockey and baseball in Binbrook, and was an avid Leafs fan and sports enthusiast of all types. Cremation has taken place. Friends and family will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. followed by the service in the Funeral Some Chapel at 4 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
