Obituary of George Murray

Sadly and unexpectedly on Friday, January 2, 2015 at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in his 74th year. Beloved husband and best friend of Pauline for 53 years. Cherished father of Debbie (Gord) Powell and Wendy Murray. Loving papa of Chelsey (Blair), Courtney (Tyler), Cody, Dallas and proud great-grandpa of his granddaughter Charley. George will be greatly missed by his mother Emily Murray. Special thanks to the Doctors and nurses at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for their wonderful care. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the time of Service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.
