Obituary of Marko Misina

Peacefully at Juravinski Hospital on Wednesday February 25, 2015, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Audrey. Loving father of Julie Anne and her partner Bozidar Vincetic and family. Survived by a cousin Milan (Anica) Misina and family (Dusanka Vukoman, Mirjana Kneafsey and Milorad Misina) in Oxford , England and a brother Petar (Mira) Misina of Ottawa. Will be sadly missed by Bosko and Nada Asanovic and their family, Nenad, Vesna, Krste, and Kumovi Djeneralovich. Marko will be missed by many family, friends, and Kumovi in Canada, England and Australia. Predeceased by his brothers Milos, Radivoj and his sister Milica. Marko was a founding member of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, Nash Road and the Serbian Chetnik Memorial Hall, Winona. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2 to 7 p.m. Pomen Sunday at 4.30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral 149 Nash Road South on Monday, March 2, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. with the Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating.
