Obituary of Barry Richard Townsend

Peacefully at his residence on Friday, March 13, 2015, in his 66th year. Beloved husband for 46 years to Judy. Loved father of Murray (Cheryl) and Chris (Nikki). Loving grandpa to Kayla, Brittany and Nathan. Dear brother of Darlene (Jack) and Jake (Eleanor). Predeceased by brothers Ken and Bobby and his sister Marilyn. Brother-in-law to Barb. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Barry loved his Boston Bruins, Ti-Cats, enjoyed baseball and being at the cottage. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 11 a.m. In Barry’s memory, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
