Obituary of Hazel Elizabeth Morden

Peacefully at Albright Manor in Beamsville, on Monday, March 16, 2015 in her 87th year after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. Predeceased by her husband Robert. Loving mother of Ken and his wife Kay. Predeceased by her son William. Treasured Grandma of Kelly, Brian, William (Sarah), and Robert. Great-Grandma to Madison and Allison. Survived by her sister Ellen Rose, sister-in-law Jean Morden, along with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters-in-law Arnie and Jane Salonen, William and Christine Morden, and Edward Morden. A special thanks to the staff at Albright Manor for their exceptional care and compassion. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received for a celebration of Hazel’s life at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
