Obituary of Sophie Tynski

Shortly after celebrating her 90th birthday with great joy and many celebrations, Sophie passed peacefully on Sunday, March 22, 2015. Predeceased by her husband Tony. Sophie will be greatly missed by her family Donna and Ron Kyneston, John and Nancy Tynski, Melanie and Jim Warr, Ray Tynski (the late Sue), Jerry Tynski, Brenda Tynski, along with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sophie was lucky to have many supportive friends, especially the wonderful women in her Friendship Group at St. Luke’s Church in Hamilton. She was a C.W.L. member for 65 years. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass to celebrate the life of Sophie will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at St. Luke’s Roman Catholic Church, 200 Mt. Albion Road, Hamilton, at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. If possible, in honour of remembering Sophie’s favourite colour, please wear a purple clothing item. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
