Obituary of Christine Doyle

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a beautiful woman, Christine Doyle nee (Pestrin) on Sunday March 22, 2015 at home with family and friends by her side, in her 57th year. Sadly missed by her loving supportive husband Tim of 38 years. Very much missed loving mother of Caroline (Wes), Sean. Proud Grammy of Lily. Beloved daughter of Tullio and Doreen Pestrin. Cherished sister of Dolores (Wayne) beloved aunt to nieces Lauren and Diana Saunders, also missed by Mother-in-law Audrey Doyle. Loved by many nieces and nephews, family and friends near and far including family in Italy. Many thanks to Dr. Richard Tozer and Dr. Susan Gudelis and all of the nurses and staff at Juravinski Cancer Centre and Juravinski Hospital, CCAC, V.O.N, Kevin Baglole, all that have helped take care of Christine throughout her long and courageous battle. Cremation to take place. Visitation to be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, March 26, 2015 from 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow at Stoney Creek United Church following the Interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens.
