Darlene, Brad and family, our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. I understand his passing was quite sudden and unexpected. That is certainly not easy but like a very good friend of mine told me after Mom passed away so suddenly "the hurt of having a loved one pass suddenly will fade quicker than the anquish of watching a loved one suffer".
As so many others have mentioned, Uncle Bernie was a special man. Although it's been many years since we've seen him, his memory remains with us and he will always have a very warm spot in our hearts. His visits down home were anticipated and enjoyed by everybody, kids and adults alike.

Darlene, Brad, Ryan, Tim, Hollie, Lauren, Evan, Dennis, Cassandra, and Bella; We were very sad to hear of Bernie's passing. Bernie left a lasting impression on everyone he met, his spirit, kindness, and humour touched us all, and we will forever be grateful for knowing him, and thankful that he lives on in his children and grandchildren. through this time of sadness it lightens our hearts a little to know that Marie and Bernie are together again for eternity.

Darlene, Brad and Family:
Our sympathy goes out to you all at this sad time. Uncle Bernie was a very special Uncle to us and we all loved him dearly. It gives us some comfort knowing that he is with Aunt Marie where he wanted to be. They were a wonderful couple who thought of everyone else around them. We are all so fortunate to have had them as part
of our family. God Bless you all and we will keep you in
our prayers.

Dear Darlene, Brad, and family
We are thinking about you all at this very difficult time. In spite of the sadness, we can reminisce on all the wonderful times we enjoyed together. There are many thoughts of your Dad that can still give us a good chuckle. He left us with many fond memories and can now be happily together with your Mom for eternity. We will keep you in our prayers as you journey through this time of bereavement.

Dearest Family of Bernie Diggins,
I join with so many others who knew Bernie in offering our deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate the end of a very long and productive life.
The measure of a life well-lived is not in how much money one has or what possessions they have accumulated, but rather through the lives they touched and the sorrow they leave behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well-lived.
May you find peace and comfort in knowing that his loss is felt by all who knew and loved him.

Darlene, Brad, Ryan, Tim, Hollie, Lauren, Evan, Dennis, Cassandra, and Bella. What moves through us is silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived and that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. I have a lifetime of memories being part of your family, Bernie was a great man, Father, Grandpa and friend and I am thankful I got to share my life with him. You are all a reflection of what a wonderful family he raised and to this I say thank-you Bernie! May the wings of an angel take you high above the clouds so you may soar again with Marie, just where you belong at this time. God Bless you all, love Sheri & Ken xox
