Obituary of Raymond Alward

ALWARD, Raymond “Bud” Passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, at Emmanuel House on Monday, November 15, 2010 at the age of 75. Predeceased by his wife Barbara. Sadly missed by Gale Stremble. Beloved father of Lee and her husband Douglas Lightheart, Mike and his wife Sharon, Wendy and Wally Purvis and James. Will also be missed by family in New Brunswick. Special thanks to all of the staff at Emmanuel House for the excellent care provided and also to Michelle Wong and Sarah Nichols of Bayshore. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 1 p.m. Private Interment. Donations to Emmanuel House through the Good Shepherd Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
