Obituary of Ruth Dores

DORES, Ruth (nee Crown) Passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2011 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of James of 65 years. Devoted mother of Frances (Bill) Richardson, the late Patricia (Gerry) Moriarity, James (Kathy) Dores, Rosemary (Tom) Auld. Loving grandmother of Billy, Bobby, Brian, Kyle, Jennifer, Kristin, Lindsay, Stephanie, Steven and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Marie McFarland. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, March 24, 2011 at 1 p.m. Private interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
