Obituary of Eleanor Elizabeth Munroe-McCabe

Munroe-McCabe, Eleanor Elizabeth “Ellie” nee Alkerton Passed away peacefully at the young age of 54 with family by her side at the Juravinski Hospital on September 20, 2015 after her second hard-fought battle with melanoma. Predeceased by her parents Charles (1994) and Beverley Alkerton (2015), missed deeply by her husband Stephan McCabe, daughters Jennifer and Katie (Matt), step-sons Justin, Brandon, Taylor, and birthmother Brenda Last (Ric). She will be greatly missed by her brother Chuck (Tracy), Dave (Amanda) as well as her beautiful grandson Jace. She will be dearly missed by her nieces Samantha, Angela and Patricia, along with nephews Mathew, Brandon, Dean, and extended family. A Celebration of Ellie’s Life and reception will be held at Ryerson United Church, 265 Wilson Street East in Ancaster Saturday, September 26 at 11:00 a.m. Special thanks to Dr. Tozer, Nancy and his Oncology staff.
