Terry, Jessica, Daniel and the rest of the family. "Redeeming Love" by Francine Rivers. This is the book Wendy was enquiring about at our church library when I first met her. We did not have it and it was unavailable for purchase. Today at church someone donated the book to the library and I mentioned Wendy's name and was told that she had been promoted to glory. We are so shocked and deeply saddened. So sorry that we missed the announcement. We pray that you have been the recipients of God's comfort and His unfailing love these past months and will continue to do so. We remember Wendy as a lovely person, bright and cheerful, always had a smile and an encouraging word for everyone, how much little Victoria loved her and looked for her every Sunday at church. She had great love for her family and was very happy and blessed to be a wife, mother and grandmother. May God's love continue to shine in the lives of you dear people.
Love Harry and Evadne Shirton

Terry, I'm sorry for your loss but heaven's gain. I never had the opportunity to meet Wendy, but I do know she has had a wonderful impact on your daughter Jessica, who speaks very highly of her.
May God keep you and yours in the cradle of His love and comfort.

Sending my love & condolences to all of Wendy's family. A beautiful talented woman, who was generous, kind, loving, smart & thoughtful. I was honoured to call you my friend. I admired many things about you, your strong faith, the love you shared with your family & friends. Your beautiful, infectious smile. You were strong, youu had a love for nature, birds and camping. The only woman I know who camps in a tent with a young grandchild alone at Killbear, wow, that always amazed me...:) We often talked of camping together there and sadly time now will not permit it..but when I visit I will always think of you at our favourite spot, Granite Saddle. I miss you my friend and so sad that you are gone but what a glorious day that will be when we meet again in our heavenly home..xo

We are in shock that Wendy is gone, but thankful that she has been promoted to Glory. Wendy was full of life, and everyone that met her wanted her as a friend, including me. When I met her at Church, I was drawn to her loving spirit, and her friendliness. We both loved to paint, and recently joined me to get painting lessons with a group of artists. She fit right into the group and it was not long before she had several more friends. She was loved by all, and will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. My condolences to Terry and the family.
