Obituary of Effie Minnie Krepych

KREPYCH, Effie Minnie – Born February 3, 1919 in the Regional Municipality of Mossey River, Manitoba Passed away at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton after a lengthy battle with cancer at the age of 96. Effie joins in eternal rest her parents, Anton and Anna; brothers Paul, John, Alex, Max, Andrew, Jack; and sisters Mary and Alice. Beloved wife to the late Nicholas Krepych. Cherished mother to Helen Krepych of Calgary and Michael Krepych. Effie is survived by brother Vincent Boyechko (Eva). Special thank you to Dr. Major and staff at the Cancer Centre and the Juravinski Hospital staff for their care of Effie during her stay. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. A Service to celebrate Effie’s life will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, Stoney Creek.
