Obituary of Ljuban Kopac

KOPAC, Ljuban Peacefully, at the Hamilton General Hospital, surrounded by family, in his 85th year. Predeceased by his wife Milka and parents Vaso and Stana. Loved father of Milan (Mike) and his wife Jadranka (Ida). Cherished grandfather of Steve and his wife Maggie, Stefanie, Mark and Stacia. Cherished great-grandfather of Jelena, Lidija and Mia. Dear brother of Dusan and his wife Sofija Kopac. Uncle of Bill, Louie and his wife Diane and great-uncle of Melanie. Heartfelt thanks to the amazing ICU staff at the General Hospital. Will be sadly missed by family in Canada, United States and the former Yugoslavia. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday, December 20, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Pomen 7:30 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, 149 Nash Rd. S., Hamilton with The Very Reverend Father Djuro Samac officiating. Interment to follow at Eastlawn Cemetery (Barton St. and Nash Rd.) Forever in our hearts.
