Obituary of Erma Elizabeth Joudrey

JOUDREY, Erma Elizabeth (nee McCoy) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Erma Elizabeth on Friday, December 18, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, at the age of 79. Erma joins in heaven her beloved husband of over 60 years, Vaughn Sterling (2014). Cherished mother to Cathy Fleming (Donald), Nancy Pereira (Joe), Sandra Whitman (Walter), the late Glenda Dailey (John), Carolyn Hutchings (Wesley), Doug Joudrey (Lynda), and Danny Joudrey (Joanne). Erma was a loved and respected sister to Nora McFarlane, Irene Hogan, Alvin McCoy, and the late William McCoy. Erma was a proud grandmother to 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at St. Joseph’s Hospital, especially Lynn and Becky, for their exceptional care of Erma during her stay. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Erma’s life at her home on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 1-4 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
