Obituary of Leonard Begin

BEGIN, Leonard Sadly early on Jan. 1, 2016, Mr. Leonard Begin of Heritage Green Nursing Home, passed away quietly and peacefully in hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his loving wife, June, of 62 years. Also by his six children: Wendy (Mike) Porter, Leona Milloy, Larry (Phyllis), Jerry (Patsy), Len (Barb), Teresa (John) Atanaoski. As well as 13 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Survived by his 2 sisters Jean Williams and Patsy and Ron Kenyon and his nieces and nephews in Sudbury. Predeceased by his parents and brother. He was retired from Hamilton Specialty Bar (Slater Steel) and Proud Past President of the Stoney Creek Legion, Branch #622. Visitation will be held at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held on, Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. A special thanks to the Stoney Creek Legion (#622) and especially to Donna Driscoll a long time friend.
