Obituary of Ruth Peake

PEAKE, Ruth Peacefully after a short battle with ovarian cancer on January 11, 2016 at Hamilton General Hospital in her 70th year. Cherished wife for the past 44 years of Bob. Loving mother of Lori (Chris), Sandra (Sean) and Rob (Allison). Devoted Nana of Ryan, Drew, Chelsey, Chantal, Chad, Roan, Evan and Kieran. Ruth is survived by her brothers Reg, Harry, sisters Susan, Nancy and their families. Predeceased by her sisters Joan and Connie. Ruth will be missed by her dear friend Betty Dolson. Special thanks to the nursing staff on 4 West at Hamilton General Hospital. Ruth enjoyed being an Avon consultant for 35 years. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 15, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Ovarian Cancer Canada would be appreciated.
