Obituary of Lynn Korbyn

KORBYN, Lynn (July 5, 1929 – January 21, 2016) Lynn became an angel in her sleep and has now joined her husband, John, in God’s house. Cherished Aunt to Ian, Reinier, and Aagje Vanderwaal in Holland. Will be greatly missed by Dave and Pam Edgcumbe and family, and Lynn’s many friends here and in Holland. Lynn was a devoted member of Ebenezer Reformed Church. She was also a long-time member of the Binbrook Chapter #117 Order of the Eastern Star. Lynn belonged to the Binbrook Women’s Institute and helped on many occasions at the Erland Lee Home. Lynn was involved with Glanbrook Home Support. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 5 – 8 p.m. A Star Service will follow. A service to celebrate Lynn’s life will take place on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Ebenezer Reformed Church, 621 Hwy. 8, Stoney Creek. Interment will be held at Glanbrook Cemetery on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 9 a.m. Donations to Ebenezer Reformed Church would be greatly appreciated.
