Obituary of Rosario Edgar Leduc

LEDUC, Rosario Edgar “Ross” After a full and happy life in his 93rd year, Ross Leduc passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on January 22, 2016. He joins in rest his beloved Regina, wife of 48 years, who passed away in 1996. Ross leaves behind his loving and devoted partner Olga Storey who he loved with all of his heart. Cherishing their memories are his children, Charlene (predeceased Brian) Watson, Raymond (Debbie), Tim (Mary) and Kevin (Jackie). Ross will be greatly missed by his 14 grandchildren; Danielle (Jim), Brianne (Jay), Amanda, Allison (Adam), Alex, Aimee, Steve (Kelsey), Katie, John, Janice, Rachel, Leyna, Megan (Brad), Jake and 9 great-grandchildren; Kennedy-Lee, Samantha, Brooklyn, Aidan, Owen, Quinnley, Areyana, Landon and Easton. Ross will also be missed by his extended family; Olga’s daughter Dorothy and her children Brendan, Dan, Alison, Steven, Michael, Zachary and many neighbours and friends. Ross was a Veteran of WW II, a retired employee of Stelco after 25 years of service. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and was a very dedicated and devoted parishioner at Our Lady of Assumption Parish. His kindness, excellent sense of humour and good natured spirit will always be held in our hearts. His life will be honoured with visitation at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church, Elfrida, on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
