DEMPSEY, Sarah (Sadie) It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Sarah (Sadie) on February 3, 2016, at Orchard Terrace in Stoney Creek, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late John Joseph Dempsey. Dear mother of Patricia (Gary) Ireson, John (Gina) Dempsey, Paul (Joanne) Dempsey, and Raymond (Olga) Dempsey. Predeceased by daughter-in-law Jennifer Dempsey. Loving Granny of Christine (Phillip Main) Ireson, Paula (David) St. Aubin, John Jr. (Heather) Dempsey, Colleen Dempsey, Candace (Jason) Harris, Neal Dempsey, Conor Dempsey, Jackson and Nolan Dempsey, and great-grandmother of 10. Special Aunt to niece Mary Black. Survived by sister Jean. Predeceased by sisters Eileen and Molly. A special thank you to Dr. Cusimano and the staff at Orchard Terrace, for their care and compassion. In keeping with Sarah’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
