Anyone that knew Marty, knew him as a guy that would always give the shirt off his back to any friend, lend a hand in a second and was always good for his word. A guy with a heart of gold.

One of my fondest memories was playing football alongside the McLeod boys in high school. Marty was a trooper on, and off the field, and we pushed one another to become better each day. I still remember Mike, and Marty talking us up and having a plan for the next big touchdown, or stuffing the other teams offense. We played ruthless, hard hitting football, and I'll always cherish those good times we all must remember. Marty, you were a good friend, a good teammate, and we're like a brother to so many lives you touched. You will NEVER be forgotten my friend.
