Obituary of David Stephen Ritchie

RITCHIE, David Stephen Nov 24, 1942- March 19, 2016 It is with saddened hearts that we announce the sudden yet peaceful passing of David Ritchie with his family by his side. Dave has joined his beloved soul mate Mary Kerr, daughter Georgina Melo and parents May and Stephen Ritchie. Mourning his loss are the families of Alison Lennox, Scott Kerr, Sheila Flint, George Ritchie, and especially his four joys in life Brittany, AJ, David and Paisley. Many friends and family will miss his sense of humour and many conversations, including his Tim Hortons buddies John, Hans, Jimmy and Garth. Dave's wishes were to remember him as he lived life. With a fishing pole in one hand, a medium double cream in the other (not to full), the oldies playing in the back ground, and a lottery booth and casino to one day win that big one. Many thanks to the amazing staff at Hamilton General Hospital 7 South and ICU 3 East for their kind words, comforting support and care for Dave and his family over the past few days.
