Obituary of Jeanne Wayda

WAYDA, Jeanne d’Arc (nee Paul) Gone to be with her Lord. Jeanne passed away peacefully at home on Monday, May 23, 2016 at the age of 88. Born in Lorraineville, Québec, and resided in Binbrook, Ontario. Beloved Mother to Paul, Peter (Darlene), and Denise (Rod) Switzer. Cherished Grandmaman to Kyle (Amy), Lisa (Marek), Jena, Emily (Caleb), Jordan (Courtney), Jane (Zach), and Andrew. Great-Grandmaman to Hannah, Owen, Mackenzie, and Reid. Sister to Rémi, Laurette, Noël, Pierrette, Gisèle, and Lucienne. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Malvina Paul and siblings Léontine, Ronaldine, Jeanette, Florent, Irène, Edna, Alcide, Réal. The family would like to thank Nurse Linda, and Dara for their compassionate care and support. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday, May 26, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at Cheyne Presbyterian Church on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
