Obituary of Mara Duzdevich

DUZDEVICH, Mara January 25, 1926 – April 16, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mara at St. Olga’s Nursing Home. Beloved wife and life partner of Paul. She will be forever loved and missed by her daughters Stephanie Moore (Bill), Dorothy Robinson (Rob), Mary Ajdinovic (Dragan) and Carol Strachan (Jim). Cherished Baba to Robert, Donna, Linda, William, Mia and Shauna. She will be forever missed by her sisters Darinka and Mica. Her great-grandchildren Amanda, Ashlyn, Nathan and Dylan. Mara will always be remembered and missed by her extended family and friends especially her friends Nevenka and Paul Loncar. We, our mother’s family wish to thank the staff at St. Olga’s who have become part of our “extended family” for their caring patience and gentleness. Friends will received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Thursday, April18, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Pomen will take place at 8 p.m. The Funeral will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Friday. April 19, 2013 at 1 p.m. with The Very Reverend Father Milojko Dimitric officiating. Interment will follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery, Stoney Creek. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
