I am deeply saddened to hear of Reverend Michael's passing. He was a kind hearted man whom I greatly respected and I am glad to say I was able to meet him in 2014 just before the election that year in the Ellen Fairclough Building. I was glad to tell him I would always vote for him and I am proud to say I did vote for him in that election. I really wish more people could emulate the compassion for your fellow human beings that Reverend Michael showed to everyone.
Rest In Peace,
Riccardo Di Stefano

I remember the day I met Michael. I was standing outside work and saw him walking down the street. He noticed me and started standing walking towards me, I was taking a break from work and he walked over. I felt a little nervous not knowing what he wanted. He introduced himself and I told him who I was. He said he did business with my company. He noticed me rubbing my knee and asked what was wrong. I told him I had some pain there. He said he would come to my place of business tomorrow as he had a remedy he made that would help me and brought me a small bottle next day. I know it had cayenne in it so it did provide some warmth to my knee. He came in often and I thought he was the nicest, kindest man I had met in a long time. He became a friend of mine, and would always come by to say hello. A sad loss of a genuinely kind man. You wI'll be missed.
