I worked with Don Dyack when he was in Acton Branch many years ago and our paths crossed numerous times over the years. I remember him for his laughter. He was a dedicated Banker who truly loved his job. I was shocked to hear of his passing. My condolences to Don's family.

My condolences to the family.
I first met Don in 1974 or '75 when he was Account Manager at Acton Branch. He replaced me as Manager at Milton Branch in 1976 when I was transferred to Credit in Toronto. I saw him for numerous credit meetings over the years that followed.
While I was a colleague rather than a friend, I am pleased to have known him as a respected and valued
banker.

Don and I first worked together 35 years ago in the BMO Credit Dept and have kept in touch over the years. I will always remember Don for his unique approach to life and also his extremes. On one hand, a very disciplined Banker and a somewhat private/reserved personality...and on the flip side a wild and intense '50's style driver... when he was behind the wheel of his beloved muscle car. This complexity always kept us wondering and I truly believe Don enjoyed our head scratching. I will never forget Don, esp. in the early years, when we were all still a little rambunctious and enjoying more than our fair share of diversion.
Til we meet again Don.....

From: Ben Parkinson My heartfelt condolences to Ginette, Christine and Laura. I knew Don from the early 80's through credit conferences and most recently from semi-annual credit luncheons when he regularly provided the transportation and usually brought me up to date on what was happening in the Bank. He also talked about his previous cancer troubles and I was saddened to hear about the most recent one which took his life. It was fitting to see so many Bankers at todays funeral which was a great tribute Don who we will all miss.

My condolences to the family, Don and I go back to 81 when he was a credit officer in Toronto and he handled my branch in North York for commercial applications. We crossed paths many times and it was a pleasure to know him and get acquainted at our Credit Lunches. Cherish the memories.

Don and I were peers in the bank and spoke frequently to each other over the last 15 years. I considered him a good friend and a very able and conscientious banker. The unflappable courage and attitude Don consistently demonstrated, through his several trials with cancer, echoes the strength of character those who knew Don will best remember him for.
