EDWARDS, Sanford (Sam) At St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, November 12, 2010, in his 95th year. Husband of the late Gwendolen (Peg). Dearest father of Darlene Field (Douglas) and Joan Cooper (Larry) of Mount Hope. Loving grandfather of Brenda Cripps (Cameron), Laura and Valerie Feeney (Joe), Sherry Elliott (Tom) and Lynne Vidal (Mike). Loving great-grandfather of Jamie, Brent, Bradley, Mark, Caitlyn, Justin, Myley, Marissa and Jackson. A sincere thank you to Dr. Jalali and the sixth floor nurses for their care and dedication during Dad’s first hospital stay. And recently our most heartfelt gratitude to the wonderful fourth floor nurses and to Dr. Alipio for his compassion, his patience and his wisdom. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, November 15th at 1:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Millgrove Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
