Obituary of Jean Duke

DUKE, Jean Passed peacefully, at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 in her 94th year. Beloved wife of 70 years to the late Rev. Joseph Reay Duke. Loved mother of James (Isabel), Thomas (Pauline), Ruth (Matthew) and predeceased by her son David and grandson Jesse. Loving Grandmother of Emily, Peter, Billie-Jean, Ian, David, Elaine, Emily, Franki and Great-Grandma of Heather, Elizabeth and Lucia. Dear sister of Gael Fontaine. Predeceased by her twin sister Annabelle and 7 other siblings. Jean was an active member of St. John’s Presbyterian Church in Grimsby. Special thanks to everyone at Lincoln Park Retirement Residence. Friends will be received at Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A private family service will be held.
